In a moving display of faith, unity, and activism, the African National Congress Women's League of the West Rand Region joined hands with the West Rand Progressive Pastors Council of South Africa for a powerful day of prayer and community mobilisation in the streets of Kagiso.
From street to street, women of the movement marched side by side with church leaders, lifting prayers for healing in communities scarred by Gender-Based Violence, praying for the protection of women and children, and calling for peace, dignity, and justice in every home. Their footsteps carried a message of hope, while their voices echoed a call for communities to stand united against violence.

Under the leadership of the African National Congress-led administration, Executive Mayor William Mathafeng Matsheke has officially launched Day 1 of the Service Delivery Rapid Response Programme in Rand West City Municipality β€” a clear demonstration that government is at work for the people.
