September is Arbor Month — a time to celebrate the trees that provide us with clean air, shade, food, homes for wildlife and so much more.

Caring for trees means caring for our communities and our environment. This month, we encourage everyone to plant, protect and appreciate the trees around us.

Whether you plant a tree, learn about indigenous species, care for a garden, or simply spend time appreciating the trees in your neighbourhood, every action makes a difference.

What an exciting day of discovery with the learners from Carissa Primary School 🌿🔎

Our young explorers got hands-on with creepy crawlies, learning about their fascinating characteristics and discovering the different stages of an insect life cycle. 🥚➡️🐛➡️🦋

Through exploration and fun activities, learners were able to connect classroom learning with the natural world around them. 🌱💚

A big thank you to Ridgewood College for visiting Delta Environmental Centre with your Grade 8 & 9 learners today! 🌿💚

We had a great time exploring Resource Use & Sustainability, calculating ecological footprints, and learning about energy production in South Africa. We hope the learners left feeling inspired to make more sustainable choices.
