πβ¨ QHS Proud Moments β¨π
At QHS, we continue to celebrate the resilience, determination, and success of our alumni π
Today, we proudly recognise Luthando Mdlophane, who completed matric as part of the Class of 2020 during the challenging period following COVID-19. Like many learners at the time, she faced difficulties with learning and preparing for examinations π, but through perseverance and the unwavering support of QHS educators, she continued to push forward πͺ
Although her matric results did not immediately qualify her for university, she refused to give up. Encouraged by her teachers to keep striving for success, she rewrote supplementary examinations the following year and significantly improved her marks β¨
That second chance opened the door to university, where she successfully completed a Diploma in Library and Information Studies π During her studies, she was also blessed with the opportunity to serve as a Librarian Intern for the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health π
Her journey is a reminder to all QHS learners and alumni that success does not always happen immediately, but perseverance, hard work, and self-belief can lead to great opportunities π
The spirit of Conabor β βI shall tryβ β continues to inspire and guide her every day ππ
A heartfelt thank you to Miss Sokhulu, Miss Gasa, Mrs Moolla, Mr Moolla, and all the educators who encouraged and believed in their learners during difficult times she addedπ
Once a QHS learner, always a QHS learner ππ
May the spirit of Conabor live on!!ππ»
