H.E. Jane Ndurumo today attended the Official Opening Ceremony of the First Ordinary Session of the Seventh Parliament of the Pan-African Parliament at its Headquarters in Midrand, South Africa.
The ceremony was officiated by H.E. Cyril Ramaphosa, President of the Republic of South Africa, who delivered the keynote address. In his remarks, President Ramaphosa underscored that the Pan-African Parliament gives expression to the voice of the people of Africa and reinforces the continent’s shared commitment to democratic governance, constitutionalism, the rule of law, and the promotion and protection of human rights.
The First Ordinary Session is being held under the African Union’s 2026 Theme: “Assuring Sustainable Water Availability and Safe Sanitation Systems to Achieve the Goals of Agenda 2063.”
