Thirty years on, South Africa’s Constitution holds strong, providing a strong foundation for a maturing culture of democracy, accountability and human rights, resilience and inclusive and sustainable development. Central to this is South Africa’s commitment to regular elections, multi-party democracy, accountability, responsive and open government.

Looking ahead, the Netherlands in South Africa will work with South Africa to advance these shared values in both our countries and globally. This will be achieved through stronger diplomatic, economic and people-to-people cooperation. 🤝
