[📸 Happening Now] Together with the Executive Mayor of Mkhondo Local Municipality Cllr Ngelosi Ndhlovu and MMCs, we led a Multidisciplinary High Impact Blitz Inspections in Piet Retief targeting the Agricultural and Forestry sectors.

The Inspections are focusing on compliance with Labour Laws such as Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Compensation For Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA), Unemployment Insurance Act (UIA), Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS) and Immigration Act, where we arrested at least 5 foreign nationals who were using visitors Visas together with their employers.

Our Inspections are a continuation of our efforts to ensure compliance with Labour Laws, Immigration Law and combat crime.

[📸Happening Now] We are leading Multidisciplinary High Impact Blitz Inspections in Dundee, Umzinyathi District targeting various employers within the Wholesale and Retail sector where the Labour Inspectors have issued a number of Contravention and Prohibition Notices to the different companies inspected.

Whilst the Department of Home Affairs and the South African Police Services (SAPS) have detained 17 illegal immigrants which 15 are employees and 2 are employers for breaching their VISA conditions and employment of undocumented immigrants.

The Inspections are conducted regularly to ensure compliance with various Laws of the Republic of South Africa.
