1 Day to | The future is cultivated by the opportunities we create today.

As we count down to Youth Day, government reaffirms its commitment to empowering young people through access to economic and educational opportunities. Through training, entrepreneurship programmes, and support for Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs), young people are being equipped with the skills, networks, and opportunities they need to succeed.

By investing in youth, we are nurturing the innovators, job creators, and leaders who will drive South Africa's future growth.

Freedom lives in every generation. The future belongs to those who seize it.

3 Days to | The future isn't waiting, and neither are South Africa's young people.

Youth Month 2026 is about planting the seeds of opportunity through skills development, work experience, active citizenship, and economic inclusion.

As we count down to 16 June, let us cultivate a future where every young person can move from learning to earning, unlocking their potential and contributing to the growth of South Africa's agricultural sector, economy, and communities.

The youth of today are the farmers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders of tomorrow. By investing in their development, we are investing in a more prosperous, inclusive, and food-secure future for all.
