SANAS Board and Executives Strengthen Engagement with Accredited Laboratories
On Wednesday, 25 February 2026 our Board of Directors, together with Executives, conducted strategic visits to key SANAS accredited laboratories: South African Bureau of Standards (SABS), National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS), and National Metrology Institute of South Africa (NMISA).
This visit formed part of SANAS’ ongoing commitment to strengthening stakeholder engagement and deepening the Board’s understanding of SANAS’ mandate in practice.
By engaging directly with accredited laboratories, the Board and Executives gained valuable insight into:
• The critical role of accreditation in ensuring technical competence and compliance.
