SITA Appoints Ms Phumzile Njoko as Executive: Supply Chain Management

SITA is strengthening its Executive Committee with the appointment of Ms Phumzile Njoko as Executive: Supply Chain Management, effective 1 September 2026.

With more than 20 years of executive leadership and consulting experience across the public and private sectors, Ms Njoko brings extensive expertise in procurement, supply chain management, governance, business transformation, digitalisation and financial management.

In her new role, she will provide strategic leadership to SITA’s Supply Chain Management function, with a focus on strengthening procurement capability, improving efficiency and ensuring that SITA continues to deliver value through effective, transparent and well-governed supply chain practices.

We welcome Ms Njoko to SITA and look forward to the experience, leadership and perspective she brings as we continue building a more capable and responsive organisation.

September is a month to reflect on who we are, where we come from and the future we want to build together.

As we observe Heritage Month under the theme “Reimagine our heritage institutions for a new era,” we are reminded that our heritage is not only about preserving the past. It is about celebrating the diverse cultures, stories and traditions that shape our identity and finding meaningful ways to carry them forward.

September is also Public Service Month. It is an opportunity to reflect on the role we all play in building a public service that is professional, responsive, accessible and focused on the needs of the people it serves.

This month, let us celebrate our heritage, embrace our diversity and continue working towards a South Africa where everyone can participate and thrive.
