The Department of Employment and Labour is proud to announce the officials who will be running the 2026 Comrades Marathon, taking place on 14 June 2026. The Comrades Marathon is the world’s oldest and largest ultramarathon, held annually in KwaZulu-Natal between the cities of Durban and Pietermaritzburg.
This year’s race, the renowned “up run”, will see participants tackle a challenging distance of 85.77 kilometres from Durban to Pietermaritzburg. To our runners: Were behind you all the way! Good luck.
