Lithuania Participates in the 3rd EU–Eswatini Partnership Dialogue 🇱🇹 🇪🇺 🇸🇿
On 8 May, the Embassy of Lithuania joined the 3rd Partnership Dialogue between the Kingdom of Eswatini and the European Union in Mbabane, Eswatini.
The Dialogue, co-chaired by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Hon. Pholile Shakantu and EU Ambassador Karsten Mecklenburg, marked 50 years of EU–Eswatini relations and reaffirmed a shared commitment to cooperation, mutual respect, and sustainable development.
Discussions focused on governance, peace and security, trade and investment, youth empowerment, digital transformation, science and education cooperation, as well as opportunities under the EU Global Gateway strategy and the EU–SADC Economic Partnership Agreement.
Lithuania values the partnership between the European Union and the Kingdom of Eswatini and supports continued dialogue aimed at inclusive growth, digital transformation, the strengthening of a rules-based international order, and further deepening mutually beneficial cooperation.
