Today, our team stepped into something a little more comfortable in support of The Reach For A Dream Foundation Slipper Day. 💙

Our staff purchased their Slipper Day stickers, wore their slippers to work, and joined in to support a cause that brings hope, comfort, and special moments to children facing life-threatening illnesses.

It is always special to see our team come together for something meaningful, and we are proud to play a small part in supporting this wonderful initiative.

A big thank you to everyone who joined our APS Webinar Series.

The level of engagement, the depth of questions, and the conversations around compliance, testing processes, and regulatory interpretation made this a truly valuable set of sessions.

From discussions around coated product requirements under R.1283, to clarity on lab submissions, turnaround times, and certification processes, it was great to see such active participation from across the industry.

Moments like these remind us why these conversations matter. It is not just about compliance, but about building a clearer, more informed food safety landscape together.

We appreciate your time, your questions, and your contribution.

More sessions to come soon.

Over the past two days, our team hosted a hands-on game meat workshop covering both harvesting and hygiene.

Day one took place on the farm, where Dr Hein Nel led practical training on ethical game harvesting techniques in the field. On day two, we moved to the abattoir and cutting plant, where Dr Delarey Ribbens guided the team through hygiene practices and proper meat handling procedures.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us, working together to raise the standard for game meat in South Africa. 🦌🔍

Did you know?

Under the Meat Safety Act (Act 40 of 2000), all abattoirs in South Africa must operate under strict inspection systems to ensure that meat reaching consumers is safe, traceable, and compliant.

At FSA, an official Department of Agriculture assignee, our inspectors provide independent verification that protects both brands and consumers across the country.

Because when it comes to food safety, there’s no compromise. Only compliance you can trust.
