Recertifying Access Systems at The Leonardo | Gravity Global

Standing at 234 metres high, The Leonardo in Sandton is South Africa’s tallest building and one of Johannesburg’s most recognisable landmarks.

But what does it take to maintain access systems on a building of this scale?

In this project, Gravity Global completed the recertification of multiple access systems at The Leonardo, including rail systems, anchor points and aid lines.

Regular inspection, testing and recertification are critical to ensuring these systems remain fit for purpose and provide reliable access for teams carrying out maintenance and other work at height.

At Gravity Global, we provide design, installation, testing, certification and evaluation of work at height systems, tailored to the requirements of each building and application.
