PCO 402 Tlokwe | Deployee Profile
Cde Barbara Dallas Creecy is a committed cadre of the African National Congress (ANC), rooted in the traditions of the liberation struggle and service to the people.
She joined the ANC in 1979 and was active in the United Democratic Front (UDF) during the struggle against apartheid.
Post-1994, she served in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, where she was deployed as MEC for Sports, Recreation, Arts and Culture; Education; and Finance, contributing to access to education, social cohesion, and sound governance.
Cde Creecy later served as Minister of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries and is currently deployed as Minister of Transport, focusing on road safety, rail revitalisation, and improving public transport.
She is a member of the ANC NEC and NWC and a deployee of PCO 402 Tlokwe.
The political office is managed by Cde Katleho Kortjaas Kortjaas.
