The Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality remains committed to transparent and integrated planning for the 2026/2027 financial year. The IDP Representative Forum convened to ensure that our development strategies are aligned across all sector departments. The meeting was held at Dan Tloome Chambers from 09H00.
The session was chaired by the Executive Mayor of Dr Kenneth Kaunda Destrict Municipality, Cllr. Nikiwe Num, with the Acting Executive Mayor of JB Marks Local Municipality, Cllr. Musa Leon Mkhabela co-chairing.
Cllr. Mkhabela in his welcoming address, emphasised the importance of unified efforts in addressing the needs of our communities. Mr. Melvin Rampedi, the Acting Municipal Manager of the Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality clearly outlined the purpose of the day, guiding all stakeholders through the necessary consultations to ensure that the Integrated Development Plan accurately reflects the priorities of the district. This vital collaboration between government departments is the cornerstone of effective service delivery.
