With the predicted severity of the upcoming weather, AACL is urgently asking for your help. If you have any newspapers, used towels, blankets, bedding - anything that can provide warmth, please could you drop at either 30 Kragga Kamma Road, Sunridge Park, our Bargain Box Shop, 9th Avenue Walmer or at our AACL Clinic, University Road, Cleary Park. Anything like pallets to raise animals out of water, any homes/churches/community halls/veterinary practices or kennels that have spare cages - please help us to help them. Members of the public who have room to take in an extra animal or two until the flooding subsides, please contact the below numbers. The need for extra food will also be great. If anyone is able to cook up rice with pets mince or the like and put into ice-cream tubs, our AACL team will deliver. The low-lying Northern areas are always badly affected at times like these. Our teams will be out there to release chained animals and to check on any casualties or needs. Please share far and wide and let's truly make a difference to those who cannot speak for themselves. Thank you, one and all. Beverley: 082 654 2852 or Karien: 079667 8667.
