The ANC Ward 57 cordially invites all registered voters and community members of Ward 57 to attend a Community Public Meeting.

The purpose of the meeting is to engage with residents and officially introduce the ANC Ward Councillor Candidates for the upcoming Local Government Elections on 04 November 2026.

Residents of Ward 57 are hereby invited to attend a Community Empowerment Programme aimed at providing access to important government and stakeholder services, information, and development opportunities.

Various departments and stakeholders will be present to engage directly with the community and provide assistance on available programmes and services.

• Mandela Village

– Materials delivered for 7 burnt shacks

• This intervention supports affected families to begin rebuilding
• The Ward 57 Councillor’s Office will continue monitoring progress on site

Councillors remain on site with municipal electricians.

🔌 Progress: Electricity restoration is now happening in sections as teams continue testing and isolating the fault.

⏳ Restoration: Other areas will follow as work progresses

⚠️ Safety: Treat all electrical points as live & switch off appliances.

🚛 Status: Municipal teams have been dispatched by Control and are attending to the fault
