RHAPSODY OF REALITIES, DAILY DEVOTIONAL, TUESDAY 19TH MAY 2026. PASTOR CHRIS

TOPIC ✨ HE ALWAYS PRESERVES HIS PURPOSE ✨

And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness (2 Samuel 15:31).

In our previous study, we referenced how Absalom, David’s son, led a strong conspiracy against David, his father. Ahithophel was greatly revered as one who spoke from God, but he joined Absalom’s camp, strengthening the conspiracy against David even further. As a result, David prayed to the Lord to turn Ahithophel’s wisdom to foolishness.

But something remarkable followed David’s prayer. The Bible says David went up to the top of the mount where he worshipped God, and right there, Hushai the Archite came to meet him. God’s answer showed up in the form of a man, a strategic placement.

David immediately understood what that meant and what to do. He told Hushai to return to the city and present himself to Absalom as a servant, just as he had served him, David. The purpose was clear: Hushai would be positioned where he could counter and defeat the counsel of Ahithophel from within Absalom’s camp.

This is a striking picture of how God preserves His purpose. Even when satanic strategies rise through subtle counsellors, God has His own people, His own instruments of wisdom and righteousness who can frustrate and dismantle those plots.

Thus, if you’re a leader, it matters who’s in your cabinet or inner circle, those who have access and can influence your decisions. They must be those who stand as voices for righteousness and truth, those who’ll cause God’s purpose to prevail and keep prevailing in our world.

God, in His wisdom, always has His “Hushais” among the leaders of nations, men and women positioned by the Spirit to frustrate wicked counsel and ensure that the will of God is done. Always pray that the leaders recognise these men and women He has positioned strategically to help them preserve righteousness and advance His purpose in the nations. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, your wisdom and righteousness prevails in the nations as your children uphold the truth of the Gospel and establish righteousness around the world. Your will is done in the earth, and your dominion spreads unhindered, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY
Proverbs 21:30 KJV
There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.

2 Samuel 15:31-34 NKJV
Then someone told David, saying, "Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom." And David said, "O LORD, I pray, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness!" [32] Now it happened when David had come to the top of the mountain, where he worshiped God-there was Hushai the Archite coming to meet him with his robe torn and dust on his head. [33] David said to him, "If you go on with me, then you will become a burden to me. [34] But if you return to the city, and say to Absalom, 'I will be your servant, O king; as I was your father's servant previously, so I will now also be your servant,' then you may defeat the counsel of Ahithophel for me.

Job 5:12 KJV
He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES, DAILY DEVOTIONAL, FRIDAY 15TH MAY 2026. PASTOR CHRIS

TOPIC ✨ IT’S THE SAME ANOINTING ✨

Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts (2 Corinthians 1:21-22).

There are differences among us, but they don’t cancel the oneness of the Spirit. The differences are in faith, calling, gifts, grace, and office. Our callings are different. Our gifts differ. God gives different graces, and there’re different offices, whether evangelist, prophet, or otherwise. Yet, it’s the same anointing of the Holy Spirit at work.

When you received the Holy Spirit, you were anointed with the anointing of the Christ. Therefore, you’ll never need a greater anointing than the one you received when you received the Holy Spirit. 2 Corinthians 1:21 says, “Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God.”

Some think you can be anointed with the Holy Spirit and then later be anointed with power, but it’s not true. It is one and the same thing. The language of Paul, like the language of the prophet Isaiah, often uses two expressions for the same reality. So, when the Bible says, for example in Acts 10:38, that God anointed the Lord Jesus with the Holy Ghost and with power, it’s not dealing with two separate things.

When you’re anointed with the Holy Ghost, you’re anointed with power. Acts 1:8, the words of the Master: “...ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you….” He had said in Luke 24:49, referring to the same Holy Ghost experience they were going to have, “...tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” This means the coming of the Holy Ghost is the enduement with power.

When you received the Holy Spirit, you were separated unto Him and consecrated with the anointing of the Christ. He empowered you to do the work of God and to live for Him. He opened your understanding to Kingdom realities and enabled you to walk in the wisdom of God. Oh, the blessedness of being filled with the Holy Ghost!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the anointing of the Holy Spirit that I have received. I walk in the consciousness of the grace and power of the Spirit at work in and through me. I’m empowered to live for you and fulfil your purpose. I function in the power and wisdom of the Spirit for the work of the Kingdom. Through me, your graces and blessings are ministered to others, and your glory is manifested in every place, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES, DAILY DEVOTIONAL, TUESDAY 12TH MAY 2026. PASTOR CHRIS

TOPIC ✨ THE COMPLETE REVELATION OF GOD’S LOVE ✨

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love (1 John 4:8).

Many people have their own definition of love because the word love has been there even before Jesus came. People used it in their daily language. It was not created when Jesus arrived. Even in the Greek expression, love, which is translated “agape,” was a known word; they used it in their daily conversations, so they already had their idea of love.

But the Lord Jesus Christ is the true definition of God’s love. He was the visible manifestation and expression of the love of God when He walked the earth. The Bible says God is love; that love was tabernacled in human flesh and manifested to us in the person of Jesus. When He walked the earth, it was love walking, talking, touching and changing lives.

When He entered the temple and preached, He was God’s love preaching. When He healed the sick, He was God’s love healing them. Even when He made whips and overturned the tables of the money changers in the temple, that was God’s love in manifestation.

Make no mistakes about it, your human definition of love will never decide for God what love is. Jesus Christ was God’s love come to us in the flesh. John 1:14 says, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

Fully God and fully man, He embodied everything love is. Therefore, to know love, you must know the Lord Jesus. To understand love, you must see it through Him. He is the perfect and complete revelation of God’s love to humanity.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for revealing your love to me in Christ Jesus. I walk in the consciousness of your love, expressing it with wisdom, truth and power. My life reflects the love of Christ in action, bringing healing, righteousness and transformation to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY
John 3:16 KJV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 5:8 KJV
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

1 John 4:9-11 KJV
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. [10] Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. [11] Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

TOPIC ✨ “IT’S ABOUT THE BLESSING IN YOU ✨

And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian (Genesis 39:2).

The Bible tells us a beautiful story in Genesis chapter 37 through 50, which recounts the life of Joseph, his journey from the pit to the palace, and the blessings of God upon his life. Having been sold by his brothers into slavery, he was later brought into what looked like a new opportunity when he became a housekeeper in Potiphar’s home.

Nevertheless, Joseph never lost consciousness of his identity. He knew he was Jacob’s son, the seed of Abraham; therefore, he refused to see himself as a victim of circumstances. That understanding shaped the way he lived and worked. Even in menial assignments, Joseph distinguished himself. He functioned with a difference. He carried himself as one who was blessed, and that blessing was evident in everything he did.

His excellence couldn’t be ignored, and his life stood out so distinctly that even Potiphar’s wife sought to seduce him. But Joseph refused her advances, recognising both the integrity required of him and the honour of his master’s trust. Regardless of the pressure from Potiphar’s wife for him to compromise, Joseph chose righteousness and fled.

His decision led to a false accusation and imprisonment. He was condemned despite his innocence. Yet, the prison didn’t redefine him. Joseph didn’t forget who he was, and the blessing on his life continued to produce results. Right there in prison, he became a source of encouragement, giving hope to others and functioning with wisdom and grace until he was entrusted with leadership among the prisoners.

Then, by God’s design, Pharaoh required an interpretation of a dream, and Joseph was brought out from confinement. In a moment, the one who had been sold as a slave and treated as a criminal was elevated to become the prime minister of Egypt. His location changed, but the blessing had been consistent all along.

This is the truth many have not yet understood: it’s not about your job; it’s about the blessing of Christ in you. When you understand who you are in Christ, your location cannot limit you. The blessing in you will speak wherever you are. You’re the seed of Abraham, a carrier and dispenser of the blessing. The blessing makes you productive, excellent and prosperous. Praise God!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the blessing of Christ at work in me. I walk in the consciousness of who I am, and I function with excellence everywhere I go. Your blessing makes me productive and prosperous, and I am a source of hope and answers to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES, DAILY DEVOTIONAL, SATURDAY 9TH MAY 2026. PASTOR CHRIS

TOPIC ✨ YOU ALREADY HAVE THE ANOINTING ✨

But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things (1 John 2:20).

You can be blessed through the grace God has given to someone else. You can be influenced by their faith, and they can join their faith with yours to get something done. But no one can increase the anointing on your life, because you already have all the anointing there could ever be. If you’d trust this truth, you’d do amazing things.

The Bible says, “...ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you...” (Acts 1:8). The Holy Spirit came upon them on the day of Pentecost for the purpose of dwelling inside them. He comes upon, to enter in. He came upon you to prepare you as the tabernacle of God, and now He lives in you. How could you then have a lesser unction or anointing when He lives in you in His totality, His fullness?

The Scriptures tell us something extraordinary: we are members of Christ’s body, of His flesh, and of His bones (Ephesians 5:30). It doesn’t get better than that. John 1:16 also says, “...of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.” And then 1 John 4:17 declares“...as he is, so are we in this world.”

That means God sees us the way He sees Jesus. Demons see us the way they saw Jesus. What more do you want? You already have what you need. In 1 John 2:20, John, by the Spirit, wrote to the saints saying, “...ye have an unction from the Holy One….” Notice He didn’t say, “Try to get more unction from the Lord”; rather he said you already have it!

The same word translated “unction” is translated “anointing” in the 27th verse that says, “But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you....” Having received the Holy Spirit, God never gives the impression that you need to get something more before you can live for Him or function for Him.

You already received all the power, glory and authority you need to live transcendently on earth. The anointing is inside you and that anointing teaches you and abides in you forever. This is your reality.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for your glory, power, authority and dominion granted me forever because I’ve received the Holy Spirit. I live conscious of His greatness within me as I function in the fullness of Christ. I walk in boldness, dominion and supernatural ability, manifesting your glory everywhere, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

TOPIC: *"THE POWER IS WITHIN YOU"*

_*📖But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you (Romans 8:11).*_

What a profound Scripture we just read! So, the question is, *"Who lives in you?"* Is it the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead? If yes, then your physical body is no longer death-doomed or death-prone; rather, it’s been invigorated and made alive by the Holy Spirit. The power that made this happen isn’t residing in heaven but within you.

When you read Ephesians1:19, it talks about the exceeding greatness of this mighty power. Then Ephesians 3:20 lets us know also that this power works within you: *“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”*

Many people describe experiences where they felt the power of God come upon them like a jacket. The feeling can make it seem like something landed from outside. But if something were truly coming from above and you didn’t see it, you wouldn’t know it came from above until you felt it. And the only reason you assumed it came from above was because you couldn’t explain it physically, yet you felt something on you. But the reality is deeper than the feeling. The power of God is within you and works from within you, not from outside. Everything in the New Testament reveals that we’re different from those in the Old Testament. We don’t receive power from outside us as they did. We’re filled with the Spirit.

That’s why the New Testament reality is not to cry for power to come down but to live with the consciousness that the Spirit lives within you in all His power, glory and might. When you understand this, it transforms your confidence; your prayer life changes because you realise that you’re the carrier of divine power. Live from this standpoint, and you’ll manifest the supernatural consistently and
effortlessly.

If you are not yet born again, we invite you to make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life by praying thus:
*_“O Lord God, I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, Son of the living God. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead. I believe He’s alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, I have eternal life; I’m born again. Thank you Lord for saving my soul! I’m now a child of God. Hallelujah!”_*

*Congratulations! You are now a child of God.

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for the Holy Spirit who lives in me. I walk in the consciousness of His divine power that’s effectual in my spirit, soul and body. Being full of His might, I manifest the glory and perfections of Christ as I preach the Gospel with boldness and confidence, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES, DAILY DEVOTIONAL, TUESDAY 5TH MAY 2026. PASTOR CHRIS

TOPIC ✨ WE HAVE THE SAME SPIRIT ✨

For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him (John 3:34).

Many people speak about different measures of the Spirit, as if Christians receive varying portions of the Holy Spirit. But the truth is that we all received the same Holy Spirit in the same measure. We received the fullness of Him. The Holy Spirit is a Person, and when you received Him, you received the entirety of His Person.

We read in our opening scripture that God doesn’t give the Spirit by measure, meaning you didn’t receive a part but all of Him. This is how the Lord Jesus received the Holy Spirit, and it’s how every Christian receives Him. It marks a significant difference between the Old Testament and the New Testament.

In the Old Testament, the Spirit came on them in measures and for specific assignments, but now, we have received the fullness of Him. If the Spirit were given in measures today, how could we truly know how much we have received? What you have is the same Spirit that the apostles received. Studying the Book of Acts reveals a consistency: the Spirit in them produced boldness, power, and extraordinary results.

The same is true of us today. The early Church carried the consciousness of the Kingdom and the authority of Christ. They preached with clarity and conviction, and God’s Word prevailed in their cities just as it does through us around the world today. By the same Spirit, the sick are healed, we cast out devils, raise the dead, and transform entire communities.

We believe in what we have received and we’re acting accordingly; the Name of the Lord Jesus is magnified. We’re unstoppable because we know who we are and what we have. In Romans 8:11, this truth is amplified: it’s not a part of the Spirit that raised the Lord Jesus from the dead that’s dwelling in us; it’s the “same Spirit.” That same Spirit has vitalised your physical body and invigorated you with miracle-working ability. This is your reality. Walk in this consciousness and manifest the power and dominion of Christ.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit who lives in me in His fullness. I walk in the consciousness of His indwelling presence, and I manifest the power, boldness and authority of Christ everywhere. My life is vitalised by the same Spirit that raised the Lord Jesus from the dead, and I walk in the dominion, wisdom and victory of the Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Romans 8:11 KJV But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

1 Corinthians 6:19 KJV
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES, DAILY DEVOTIONAL, MONDAY 4TH MAY 2026. PASTOR CHRIS
TOPIC ✨ RESPOND RIGHTLY TO THE SPIRIT ✨

For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body… and have been all made to drink into one Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:13).

Many sing, “Fill my cup Lord, I lift it up Lord, come and quench this thirsting of my soul; bread of Heaven, feed me till I want no more....” Such a song, however religious, is born out of complete ignorance of God’s Word. First, the Lord Jesus is the Bread of Heaven. He said in John 6:35, “...I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”

Also, in Matthew 4:4, He said, “...Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Therefore, when you received Jesus Christ, when you were born again, you received the true "Bread" from heaven. You received the One who satisfies. Secondly, when you received the Holy Ghost, you received the “drink” that quenches the thirst of every soul.

Our opening scripture says, “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body… and have been all made to drink into one Spirit” (1 Corinthians 12:13). This means you not only receive the Spirit, you drink the Spirit. He’s God’s answer to the thirst of the human spirit. The question, therefore, is, why are many still thirsty and singing, “Come and quench this thirsting of my soul,” having received the Holy Spirit?

If you’re thirsty, drink of the Spirit. In other words, be filled with the Spirit! You’re supposed to be constantly filled with the Spirit. Ephesians 5:18-21 tells you how; read the entire reference. Staying filled with the Spirit and living in the Word is the answer. It’s the best life.

That’s how you dominate sickness, failure, lack and the circumstances of life. That’s how you walk over and above Satan, his cohorts and their corrupting influences. That’s how to live in the reality of divine supply and spiritual satisfaction.

Don’t cry for what you already have. Stay drunk with the Spirit. Keep living in the Word. That’s where your glory is; your results will keep increasing, and you’ll walk in blessings only. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the Lord Jesus Christ, the Bread of Heaven, and for the Holy Spirit, who satisfies my soul. As I drink of the Spirit continually and stay in the Word, my life is refreshed, strengthened and established in divine supply and supernatural results, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY
John 6:32-35 KJV
Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. [33] For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. [34] Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. [35] And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

John 7:37-39 KJV
In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. [38] He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. [39] (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified).

Ephesians 5:18-21 KJV
And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; [19] Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; [20] Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; [21] Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
