🌿✨Landsdiens Kamp Herinneringe✨🌿

Op die 26ste en 27ste Maart het ons, ons Mini Landsdienskamp gehou… en SJOE, was dit nie pret nie! 😄🔥

Van vinnig-denkende ysbreker speletjies 🤝 tot ongelooflike span gees 💪, kreatiewe handwerke 🎨, en kragtige lofprysing 🙏🎶 - ons het werklik die VIER pilare van Landsdiens uitgeleef ❤️💛💚💙

Een van die spesiaalste aspekte van ons kamp was om die ryk Landsdiens tradisies, wat al vir dekades lank sterk staan, aan ons leerders oor te dra. Van tradisionele liedjies en gedrag 🎵🕺 tot legendariese stories 📖 en natuurlik samesang voor ete vir gesondheid en krag 🍞🙏 - hierdie oomblikke het ons herinner aan wie ons is en waar ons vandaan kom.

En ons het geskiedenis gemaak!🏫✨ Vir die eerste keer ooit het ons in die skool gebou geslaap… en wat ‘n onvergeetlike ervaring was dit nie! 😄💤

Mag ons nie die laastes wees om herinneringe soos hierdie te maak nie. Ons is dankbaar vir elke lag, liedjie en oomblik wat ons gedeel het.

🌿✨ Mini Land Service Camp Memories ✨🌿

On the 26th and 27th of March we had our Mini Land Service Club Camp… and WOW, did we have fun! 😄🔥

From quick-thinking icebreaker games 🤝 to incredible team spirit 💪, creative crafts 🎨, and powerful praise & worship 🙏🎶 — we truly lived out the FOUR loves of Land Service ❤️💛💚💙

One of the most special parts of our camp was passing on the rich Land Service traditions that have stood strong for decades. From traditional songs and actions 🎵🕺 to legendary stories 📖, and of course singing together before meals for health and strength 🍞🙏 — these moments reminded us of who we are and where we come from.

And history was made! 🏫✨
For the very first time ever, we slept in the school building… and what an unforgettable experience it was! 😄💤

May we not be the last to make memories like these.
Grateful for every laugh, every song, and every moment shared 💫

Gr.6-7 Landsdiensklubkamp Skietfontein / Gr.6-7 Land Service Club Camp Skietfontein

Modderbaan, perdry, swaai, verfbalskiet, handvaardighede, "bonfire", natuur, godsdiens, ysbrekers, spekbome plant. Dit was ’n kamp vol lag, nuwe vaardighede en trotse oomblikke waar ons leerders uit hul gemaksone getree het en iets nuuts probeer het.

Mud, horses, swing, paintball, crafts, bonfire, stokbrood, nature, praise and worship, games, spekbome. It was a camp filled with laughter, new skills, and proud moments as our learners stepped out of their comfort zones and tried something new.

Ons is dankbaar dat almal Sondag weer veilig teruggekeer het. Baie dankie aan oom Jannie en sy span en al die onderwysers wat die naweek vir ons onvergeetlik gemaak het.

We are thankful that everyone came back safely on Sunday. Thank you very much to uncle Jannie and his team and all the teachers for making it an unforgettable weekend.

Today, on 3 March, we celebrate World Wildlife Day a day to honour the incredible diversity of life on our planet and to recognize the urgent need to protect the species and ecosystems that sustain us all.

From the tiniest insects to the largest mammals, every creature plays a vital role in the web of life. 🌱❤️ But many animals and plants are facing threats like habitat loss, climate change, pollution, and illegal wildlife trade.

Let’s take a moment to:
