The strategic stakeholder engagement underscores the importance of our collective efforts in shaping the future of our Metro.
As we navigate an ever-evolving media landscape, it is crucial that the Municipality and its citizens media stakeholders come together to share insights, discuss challenges, and explore opportunities. Today’s session is designed to foster open dialogue, encourage collaboration, and build stronger relationships that will drive our strategic initiatives forward.
Acting City Manager Mandla George stated, "The goal was to rebuild the relationship between the media and the city's administrative leadership. We understand their crucial role in our society. Without their coverage, we cannot effectively drive change in our Metro. Transparency is key to informing the community about pressing issues like crime, unemployment, and underdevelopment. At the same time, we aim to use this partnership to highlight positive stories and showcase the beauty of our Metro."
