The ANCYL in Andrew Mehlape branch led by the branch secretary Cde Stephen Mazoza Phethego Mathiba embarked on a successful peaceful March against unemployment.

The branch further went to place wreaths at the late Comrade Jack Kganyago’s grave, the visit was to honour and celebrate a revolutionary life well lived. Comrade Kganyago was the Deputy Chairperson of the ANCYL in Andrew Mehlape Branch.

We continue to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the June 16 Soweto Uprising, a defining moment in our nation's struggle for freedom and justice. We honour the bravery, sacrifice and resilience of the youth of 1976 who stood against oppression and changed the course of South African history.

Today the ANCYL in Andrew Mehlape branch attended the burial ceremony of Mamadimo Simon Kgopa which was held at Toronto Mankweng, who is the uncle to the Branch Chairperson Cde. Arthur Mabu Kgopa.

ANCYL branch Secretary Cde. Stephen Mazoza Phethego Mathiba led the delegation to the kgopa family, in bidding farewell.
