MEC for Education Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya conducted a school support visit at Klaas Mothapo High School in the Capricorn South Education District. The visit was aimed to assess and identify suitable sites for the construction of new classrooms blocks, a nutrition centre, sanitation facilities and a sports field.

Klaas Mothapo High School is one of the highly enrolled schools in Limpopo, with an enrollment of 2 754 learners. The planned infrastructure development is aimed at improving the learning environment and ensuring that the school’s growing needs are adequately addressed.

“On behalf of department of education I am here to confirm that we are ready to build a proper school that appropriates conducive learning. The safety of learners during the construction is important and congratulations to the school choir setting to the national stage, go and represent Limpopo well, concluded MEC.

Wilson arranged by W. Stickles, Secondary B Western: Now Love That Everlasting Boy by G.F. Handel, Secondary B African: Thuto by Podu Mamabolo, and Folklore categories featuring Social Ills Jingle, Setswana Culture and Own Choice Culture.

The Provincial Championship serves as a vital platform for learners to refine their performance skills, build confidence and compete at the highest level as they prepare to represent Limpopo on the national stage. With every note and performance, participants are demonstrating their talent, discipline and dedication required for success beyond the province.
