"I know you've come to kill me. Shoot, coward, you are only going to kill a man," Ernesto Che Guevara.
Today, we commemorate the life and legacy of a towering revolutionary figure born out of the struggle. We draw vital lessons from this iconic symbol of communist ideology, a dedicated revolutionary and unwavering internationalist. In his unrelenting pursuit of global liberation, Che transcended borders, fighting tirelessly against the exploitative capitalist system worldwide.
History attests that Che's revolutionary endeavors extended far beyond Cuba, as he engaged in liberation struggles in various countries, including the Democratic Republic of Congo, after departing Cuba in 1965. Born in Argentina on June 14, 1928, Che Guevara's life was cut short in Bolivia on October 9, 1967. May his indomitable spirit continue to inspire and guide the revolution towards its ultimate triumph.
