POLOKWANE OPERATION RETSHEPENG

More than 20 people have been arrested for various offences during a high-intensity Operation Retshepeng conducted across the Polokwane policing area on Friday Morning.

Thank you Lieutenant General Jan Scheepers for involving the neighborhood watches, Safety Forums and Security Companies to be part of this long overdue exercise.

The time has come for the community of Polokwane to put their trust back into SAPS under the leadership of Lt Gen Jan Scheepers.

Items seized were

25 empty crates
300 empty bottles
2.56kg of dagga
An Okapi knife

One shebeen was also closed following enforcement action.

This is the beginning of a new journey with SAPS and the Polokwane Safety Forum and it's partners will give SAPS all the support they need.

Today we walked away as winner against crime.

A KFC franchisee currently in the process of opening a new store at the R71 Eastridge Sasol Filling Station, situated at Portion 68 of East Ridge Extension 3, Corner of R71 and A Road, Dalmada AH, 0699 (Coordinates: -23.897506184974333, 29.51593384212079).

The site is located within Ward 21 of the Polokwane Municipality and is expected to draw support primarily from both Ward 20 and Ward 21 community.
