New Demarcation for Ward 4 New Horizons.

The Municipal Demarcation Board (MDB) conducts a ward delimitation process in the Bitou Municipality every five years, usually leading up to local government elections, to adjust ward boundaries based on population shifts and ensure an equal spread of voters per ward.

After the process the board has approved Schoongezicht area to be part of new horizons ward 4.

The New voting district for the residents will be Child Welfare on the corner of Pineroad/Blue gum street.

This election is about practical results, not party colors. If you want water that flows, roads that last, and a council that listens before it spends, then vote Plett Democratic Congress - PDC

Busy day in ward 7

28 May 2026

Today our chairperson Claude Terblanche attended to various parts of ward 7 listening to the people and signing new members.

With the president announcing the local government election date for 4th November 2026, our leadership will be moving to all corners of Bitou listening and speaking to voters.

In Harkeville a small forestry village we listened to people about what they think of how best the people can govern on local government level.

In Kranzhoek the bigger part of ward 7 we welcomed Victor Anthony and members to the organization.
