Today the Branch Executive Committee and volunteers will do door to door in Makwane Village. The purpose is to mobilize people to attend the Lecture in numbers.

Our countdown has started. We agreed to start at Haniville meeting the people. They are exited that the Deputy President is coming to their Ward and it's the first senior leader of the ANC and government to visit their dusty street.

The Branch General Meeting sat today to discuss preparations for the visit of the ANC Deputy President in the Branch. Members agreed to go all out to make sure that the visit becomes a success.

They went further in pledging their support for Cde Cyril Ramaphosa to be the President of the ANC, but agreed that after the National Membership Audit they will convene another meeting whereby they will consider a quorum of 50% plus one when finally endorsing him. It's when they will call a press conference to announce their decision.

The final nomination will be done by the Biennial General Meeting were they will also nominate delegates as well as the new Branch Executive Committee

The Extended Branch Executive Committee met today to discuss Countdown Programme for the visit of the Deputy President- Cde Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa.

1. On Sunday we will meet all ANC members in good standing at 15h00- Makwane Intermediate School. All members are invited.

2. Monday we will meet volunteers at 10h00 at ANC Branch Office. After briefing volunteers we will hit the road, with doing door to door.

3. On Wednesday we will continue with door to door and in the Afternoon, we will meet to check the progress.

4. On Thursday and Friday we will continue with door to door and the Media Sub Committee will load hail the whole Ward.

5. On Friday and Saturday we will do pamphleteering in all Ward. We will also target busy place in the Ward.

The Branch Executive Committee in its ordinary sitting yesterday (Tuesday- 30 June 2017) decided to slightly change the Memorial Lecture of the late Cde Thabo Edwin Mofutsanyana to the 11 June 2017. Transport will start picking up members from 09h00. Everyone must have seated by 12h00.

We decided to used the event to restore, reclaim and reunite the ANC. We have also decided that everyone one who attend should wear ANC T/shirt with no face of anyone cause this will be used by some to say the Branch support so and so. ONLY ANC LOGO Nothing less or nothing more.

Every member of the ANC in good standing all over the country will be welcome. He/she should bear in mind we have a right as the Branch to denied or allow entry.

We will provide details of comrades to contact after our extended BEC that will be held tomorrow.

Level of participation were high and number of resolutions were taken. We believe that they will be implemented to the latter because we have a capable Office of the Regional Secretary.

Amongst our resolution is to enable our young people to do their Resumes in the ANC Branch Office free of charge, we will have notice board so that those who can't afford newspapers they can check careers adverts there free of charge.

Our young people need us and we are going to support them 200% cause ANC is their home.

Branch Strategic meeting about to start. The purpose of the meeting is to analyze elections results and our campaign, plan the way forward. All BEC Members of the ANC and Leagues are in attendance.

Today we had two meetings in Molapo

1. Meeting

We address plus minus 50 people. In the meeting Cde Lenda outline the purpose and introduce Street Coordinator and gave to Cde Abiel to present achievements & Manifesto of the ANC. During question time and EFF Candidates try to steal the show but could managed. The meeting adjourned cause leadership avoid confrontation

The Second meeting Cde Piet also outline the purpose and introduce all Street Coordinators as well as the ANC Candidate. During question time again EFF Candidate arrive and cause scene, the meeting went on, until to the end.

We are on course we believe that we will fill up Mohaladitwe School.

Today we had two meetings in Molapp which were address by:

1. Cdes Gilbert, Kganunu, Thabang & Matumelo

2. Cdes Lenda, Abiel, Mamodiehi, Malehlwa, Tshidi & Amelia

Both meeting attendance was very good taking with robust engagement. People comparing different government admin, electricity outage and roads maintenance. But they are our supporters but they want ANC to accelerate service delivery
