WATER TANKER SCHEDULE:
Good day, we have not received any schedule up to now. Cllr De Beer is in an Exco meeting currently and he will request the list.
From a political side we have also escalated the water crisis that the Ba-Phalaborwa area is experiencing to the Deputy Min Water and Sanitation, the Deputy Min Treasury and the Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee Water and Sanitation, for urgent intervention. Any updates will be posted on the groups. Regards cllr Lonika Booysen

DA litter picking at Phalaborwa Cemetery

The DA was at Phalaborwa Cemetery on Saturday morning doing litter picking.

What we saw is unacceptable:
- Grass is overgrown
- Graves are vandalised
- Even our war veterans’ memorial statue has been damaged
- Bathrooms are falling apart

The municipality is not maintaining this cemetery. Our families and our veterans deserve better.

We will keep the pressure on until this is fixed.

Would you like to join us to keep our town and public places clean? Please contact me.

On Saturday morning, the DA together with the Cleanup Team conducted a litter-picking initiative at Bollanoto Tourism Centre and along Steyn Street.

It is deeply concerning to see the state of Bollanoto Tourism Centre, it is severely dilapidated, not functional, and far from being tourism-friendly. Even more alarming is the shocking level of illegal dumping in the area.

We cannot allow our town to fall into neglect. I urge all residents to work with us in keeping our community clean and restoring its dignity.

Please assist us in making a difference.
