From tiny, uncertain arrivals… to thriving, wild-hearted family members 🐒💛
The first clips take us back to when Tink, Georgina, and Rolphe arrived fragile, alone, and finding safety in our nursery quarantine. Every step then was about comfort, healing, and learning to trust again.
And now… look at them. The last clips say it all. Strong, confident, and completely embraced by their new troops surrounded by baboons who have become their family.
This is why we do what we do.
Not just rescue, but a second chance at belonging, at growing up wild, and at finding their place where they truly belong.
Here’s to Tink, Georgina, and Rolphe and to every baboon who’s come to us and their journeys from orphan to family 🐾✨
🌍IMPORTANT NOTE: **Baboons are not pets & should not be forced to live with humans.**
🌿
🐵 The baboon orphans at C.A.R.E. Rehabilitation Centre, Limpopo, South Africa are victims of wildlife crime, hunting, trapping and the illegal pet trade. Their mothers were tragically killed by hunters, farmers, poachers and require intensive, 24hour care.
🌿
🐾Thanks to the dedicated, educated & professional caregivers and staff, the orphans are being rehabilitated so that they will be able to thrive with others in a natural and safe environment.
Please support C.A.R.E.’s efforts to rescue, rehabilitate & release baboons in need, keeping wild baboons wild!
