Yesterday afternoon
Most snow lower down has melted and some snow likely to remain at the peaks. We are expecting another sunny day that's not that good for the snow.

The hike to the peak is 4 hours in one direction.
Not suitable for young children.
When the snow comes down lower it will be easier accessible.

Keep an eye in our page for all snow related updates.
Entrance to the Reserve with a Normal car is still good.

All trails in the reserve is now 4x4 due to the severe flooding. Our 4x4 trail is not accessible, litraly that, we can't access the trail, we are still working on repairing the bottom roads.

That Icy chill in the air? Yes, you've guessed it.
We've got some Snow peaking through the cloud.

Snow is only high up in the mountains reachable with the hiking trails only. This is not a easy hike and not suitable for young children non hiking children. The snow is high up right now and the sun is melting it fast

After the recent severe flooding storms that Hit the Western Cape some of our trails are extremely damaged.

Right now are working on getting vehicle access to the base of the mountain as the roads lower down was damaged. Nature is ultimately in control and nothing man made can stand a chance against the Power of Nature.

We are truely blessed and grateful daily that we were ultimately protected and kept safe.

No snow
No access, roads flooded all around. Rockslides and mudslides blocking roads and access to Ceres.
No electricity
