The South African Weather Services (SAWS) has confirmed that predictions of severe and disruptive rains for parts of the Cape Winelands District remain on track. Expect moderate rain today 🌧️, increasing in volume on Monday and Tuesday as a second cold front moves over the district ❄️.

Breede Valley, Drakenstein, Stellenbosch, and Witzenberg — with mountainous areas at higher risk ⛰️

🔴 Level 8: Severe rainfall (200–300 mm accumulation) 🌧️🌧️
