Students receive our revolutionary greetings

We hope this communique finds you in a good space even after a reactionary organization the EFFsc last night.

As SASCO we are very disappointed by what transpired at the campus gate where leaders of this organization and people who were voted by students to fight for them but yesterday they showed their true colors.
How can a member of the SRC be involved in such an event where they were barred to enter into the premises of the college just because they come from event of their opposition? We agree the law must followed but EFFsc should be not the enforcer of it and students be subjected into humiliation.

If their fight is against the management why should they opted to be the one stopping students from entering the campus? I hear that they wanted fairness but with who's expense? They can't be saying they are representing students on the very same page are oppressing them because they are SASCO. If they had an issue with unfairness they should have allowed the students to access the premises of the campus and on Monday address the issue with the campus management.

The members of the SRC including it's chairperson made a huge political blunder which cannot be left unexposed because they should be advocating for students rights not becoming goalkeepers of the rights of fellow students. Students rights know no colours of political tshirts and it should remain like that.

We are approaching SRC elections now and students should make sure they elect matured leaders who exercise their minds accordingly. The incident grossly trapped upon the students rights and as SASCO we condemn this with strongest term it deserves.

We hope the students will realize who are their true leaders and put their cross next to SASCO candidates.

As we conclude, we wants to reitariate that there is only one students movement with traceable records in fighting for emancipation of all students life, that is SASCO yabafundi.
