🚨 Our Hero Needs a Back-Up! 🚨
Many of you know Stephan Potgieter.
He’s the first responder who is always there for us when the fire is raging or an accident happens. He’s spent years going the extra mile for the Lowveld without ever asking for anything in return.
On June 10th, the hero needed help. Stephan suffered a severe heart attack and was rushed to Mediclinic. He has undergone an emergency angioplasty and stents, but the road to recovery is long and the medical costs are overwhelming for our family.
Insurance doesn't cover the specialist cardiac care and ongoing recovery he needs to get back on his feet and back into his gear.
We are asking our community—the same community Stephan has protected for years—to help us 'Back up Stephan.' No amount is too small, and even a share could reach the right person.

💚 A Heartfelt Thank You to Everyone Who Has Supported Stephan So Far 💚

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to every person who has donated, shared our campaign, sent messages of encouragement, and kept Stephan and his family in their prayers. Your kindness and generosity have already made a tremendous difference during one of the most challenging times they have ever faced.

Because of your support, we have been able to take important steps toward helping Stephan receive the specialist cardiac treatment he urgently needs. Every donation, no matter the amount, has reminded the family that they are not facing this journey alone.

However, we have not yet reached our fundraising target, and there is still a long road ahead. Stephan's medical expenses continue to grow, and further treatment is urgently required. We are humbly asking our community, friends, colleagues, and everyone who has been touched by Stephan's years of selfless service to consider helping if they are able.

A Heartfelt Thank You ❤️

Over the past week, I have faced one of the biggest challenges of my life following my heart attack and emergency medical treatment. It has been a time filled with uncertainty, fear, and many difficult moments, but it has also shown me just how blessed I am.

First and foremost, to my incredible wife, thank you for standing beside me every step of the way. Through the long days, sleepless nights, worry, and recovery, you never left my side. Your strength, love, support, and encouragement carried me when I needed it most. I truly would not have made it through this journey without you. I love you more than words can express.

To my family, thank you for your prayers, visits, messages, and unwavering support. Your love gave me strength and reminded me every day of what I am fighting for.

To our amazing community, friends, colleagues, and everyone who reached out, offered assistance, sent messages, made phone calls, visits, donations and kept me in your thoughts and prayers—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness and support have been overwhelming and deeply appreciated.

This experience has reminded me that life is precious, family is everything, and we should never take a single day for granted. While I still have along and expensive road to recovery ahead, I face it with hope, determination, and gratitude
because of the incredible people around me.
