[BREAKING NEWS]

Danger on the Roads: Learners Escape Bus Incident in Moses Kotane‼️‼️‼️

Learners at Olefile Secondary School were left stranded after their school bus narrowly avoided being swept away due to severely damaged and collapsing road infrastructure in the area.

The incident highlights the deteriorating condition of roads in the Moses Kotane Local Municipality, where infrastructure has now completely collapsed in parts, leaving transport systems unreliable and increasingly dangerous. The situation is further worsened by the continued use of buses that have largely been declared unroadworthy.

The EFF notes with serious concern that the ANC-led government has allowed basic infrastructure to deteriorate to a point where the safety of learners is constantly at risk. Our children’s lives cannot be treated with such insignificance and neglect.

Communities are urged to remain mobilised and to register to vote in order to remove the ANC from power and restore dignity, safety, and functional service delivery.

EFF Ward 19 Ground Forces conducted a Youth IEC Registration Drive at Gabonewe High School. The initiative encouraged young people to register with the IEC and participate in the democratic process.

Ground Forces engaged learners on the importance of voter registration and active participation in shaping their future.

The voter registration station was also active in Ward 2, Maretlwana, where Ground Forces mobilised the community to ensure they are registered and ready to vote.
