YOUTH MONTH LAUNCHED IN BELA-BELA

Limpopo MEC for Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure Mr Ernest Rachoene has urged the youth to take advantage of all youth employment opportunities that are offered by government and all its entities.

The MEC was speaking during the launch of the Youth Month Programme in Bela BELA where he was standing in for the Premier.

"You must embrace your studies, your careers, your businesses and your communities. Do not allow circumstances to define your future. Instead, use every challenge as a stepping stone towards success. As we work to create opportunities for the development of our youth, we must also ensure that the youth is informed of the opportunities that exists.” says MEC Rachoene.

He urged young people to register for the upcoming local government elections to exercise their democratic right to vote.

“As the theme of the youth month state, we as a nation have a commitment to the
future, and to defend the gains of our freedom without risking going back to the dark days of apartheid. The youth of our province and the country at large must register to vote, and off course vote correctly.” concludes MEC Rachoene.

The launch was also attended by Sport, Arts and Culture MEC Jerry Maseko, Treasury MEC Kgabo Mahoai, Agriculture and Rural Development MEC Nakedi Kekana and MEC for Health Dieketseng Mashego, as well as Mayors.
