-Mokopane hospital has been refusing to discharge a patient because his parent couldn't pay for his medical fees that amount to R30 663.00.

-The patient who is a learner he has been missing classes at school for over 3 weeks due to the conduct of the hospital.

-EFF Waterberg led by Provincial GBV Desk Gerly Malatjie and Regional GBV Desk RDS Polina Moshidi went to the hospital to assist the parent to fight for the discharge of her child.

- EFF Waterberg has rejected the medical bill and demanded the discharge of the patient and the patient was freed to go back home to his family and he will be ready to go back to school.

EFF Constitution Section 5: (1) Non-Negotiable Cardinal Pillar (d) is clear that healthcare must be free and quality.
