Merry Christmas to my dear friends and family 🎄❤️

It is a distinct honor to stand among global voices in this prestigious international project. During this Christmas season, I proudly present an editorial from the esteemed platform .

Representing South Africa alongside over 20 nations, I shared the depth of our Christmas heritage—rooted in tradition, elevated by spirit, and unified by customs that strengthen families and communities. May this season be a reminder of our shared values: love, light, unity, and purposeful celebration.

With love and gratitude,👑🎄✨❤️

Join the fight against Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF). This 16 Days of Activism campaign (Nov 25 - Dec 10) highlights that GBVF is NOT just a "women's issue" – it's a societal crisis. Economic empowerment of women is key to breaking cycles of poverty & vulnerability. Let's work together for safer, inclusive communities.

Our Founder & Patron, Lucia Simelane-Ochan of the Lucia O Foundation, highlighted the vital importance of economic empowerment as a driving force for women’s rights, independence, and overall well-being.

A community engagement session centred on Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) awareness and the Women Economic Empowerment Programme (WEEP) was recently hosted at Maviljan Community Hall in the Bushbuckridge Local Municipality.

The event was organised by the Ehlanzeni District Municipality (EDM) in collaboration with the Bushbuckridge Local Municipality (BLM) and the Lucia O Foundation’s Glow Up! Make a Difference initiative. The purpose of this engagement was to enhance women’s economic participation while strengthening GBVF awareness, prevention, and support efforts across the district. 💜💎
