In die eerste kwartaal van die jaar is altesaam 1 324 skoolvervoer-voertuie met gebreke landwyd deur owerhede van die pad verwyder. Die Padverkeersbestuurskorporasie (RTMC) het kommer uitgespreek oor die groot aantal skoolvervoer-voertuie wat steeds onveilig is en leerlinge se lewens in gevaar stel.

VRYSTAAT. – ’n 47-jarige polisiebeampte het glo Sondagoggend vroeg vyf mense geskiet. Drie mense is dood en twee beseer voordat die lid homself na bewering geskiet het.

LIMPOPO. – Polokwane-munisipaliteit het bevestig dat menslike oorskot by een van sy munisipale begraafplase ontdek is. Die voorval is onmiddellik by die polisie aangemeld.
