South Africa is open for business, The North West Province is open for business.

The South African Investment Conference (SAIC), first held in 2018, is now underway, and NWDC is participating, showcasing investment opportunities.
The SAIC brings together leaders and investors to unlock opportunities across key sectors, including energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, agriculture, mining, and the digital economy.
"The NWDC is privileged to be part of the sixth South Africa Investment Conference. This has given us a platform to meet a cross section of investors, reconnect with colleagues and establish new connections", says Lovemore Makunike, NWDC's Trade and Investment Manager, from the Sandton Convention Centre.

MSME Feature: Sakoko Foods

What began as a struggle with post-harvest losses has evolved into a growing agri-business centred on spinach powder, dehydrated morogo, pickled beetroot and pickled jalapeno produce—products that extend the life of fresh crops while creating new income opportunities.

Their dehydrated foods highlight the power of value addition in agriculture. Instead of relying only on fresh produce sales, owner Tebogo Nyathela has built a product line that includes: spinach powder, dehydrated morogo and pickled vegetables.
