LEDA participated at the launch of the Youth Month in Bela Bela where MEC Ernest Rachoene represented Premier DR Phophi Ramathuba and encouraged the youth to be serious about their future. In his address Rachoene focused on youth empowerment and urged them to stand tall and develop the areas in which they live.

Fetakgomo Tubatse Special Economic Zone (FTSEZ) has been designated as one of the economic flagship project in the Limpopo Province. The designated of FTSEZ will ensure job opportunities, economic spinoffs and growth in the province, in particular in the Sekhukhune District. It is expected that industries that support the mining projects in Tubatse will be established and a number of people will be employed. This is good news for Limpopo.

LEDA continues to provide assistance to small businesses in the province. Together with Capricorn Districts Municipality, the Agency has given business equipments to 15 entrepreneurs. LEDA GCEO encouraged the entrepreneurs to take good care of the equipments and further work hard to grow their businesses to a satisfactory level.

LEDA in conjunction with the Offie of the Premier, LEDET and the Sekhukhune District Municipality joined hands to celebrate equipment handover to an entrepreneur in Ga-Phaahla village. The handover of these sewing equipments was a symbol of faith resilience, and service delivery by the Limpopo Economic Development Agency.
The entrepreneur, Rose Senong employed three workers who are doing wonders with the hands. Mrs Senong is a proud recipient of 5 sewing machines, two irons,and two ironing boards.

LEDA Group Chief Executive Officer, Jason Ngobeni handed over the equipment together with MEC Rachuene.
