📚🐝 LiBee Spreads the Buzz for Literacy! 🐝📚

Today, Kuils River Library had the wonderful opportunity to visit Happy Valley Primary School as we introduced the learners to our library mascot, LiBee! 🐝💛

What an incredible experience! 606 Foundation Phase learners were excited to meet LiBee, and their smiles, enthusiasm and excitement reminded us just how magical books and reading can be. 📖✨
As we celebrate International Literacy Day and National Book Week, we are proud to continue inspiring young minds to discover the joy of reading, learning and imagination. 🌱📚

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the Principal, teachers and all the wonderful learners of Happy Valley Primary School for welcoming us and LiBee with such warmth. 💛🐝

In celebration of World Book Day, on the 23rd of April, Kuils river Library staff visited Soneike High School to promote the culture of reading among learners. The library staff gave presentations on librarianship as a profession and library programs at the facility Kuils river Library. They also did a membership drive at the school, handing out several library membership forms to +-400 school children. The library plays a vital role in fostering literacy, inspiring imagination, and nurturing a culture of reading within the community. 🙂📖📚📕📘
