Report on the Introduction of the ANC Ward 38 Candidate

1. Opening and Welcome
The meeting was formally opened, and delegates were welcomed.
2. Purpose of the Meeting
The purpose of the meeting was to formally introduce the ANC Ward 38 candidate and to present the elections program for Ward 38 ahead of the 2026 local government elections.
3. Introduction of the ANC Ward 38 Candidate
Comrade Rebecca Mvoka was introduced as the ANC Ward 38 Candidate.
She will represent the African National Congress in the upcoming 2026 local elections.
Comrade Mvoka summarised the ANC Local Government Elections Manifesto and called on all comrades to intensify door-to-door campaigns in order to secure an ANC victory in Ward 38.
4. Elections Programme:
The following structured elections program was presented and adopted:
Monday:
Branch Election Team (BET) meetings
Meetings will be held every Monday at the Paul Kruger Office from 16:30 to 17:00.
Tuesday and Wednesday:
Door-to-door / house visits.
Comrade Rebecca Mvoka will champion morning and midday visits.
Comrade Kgaile will champion afternoon visits.
Thursday:
Sectoral engagement. Focus areas include:
Old-age homes within the ward (with emphasis on special votes).
Students at the Technical College.
Factories located in the ward.
SAPS members.
Yellow Friday:
Targeted canvassing in identified hotspots across the ward.
5. Closure
The meeting was closed after the presentation of the elections program.
All structures are urged to implement the program diligently in support of Comrade Rebecca Mvoka and the ANC campaign in Ward 38.
