👑🦜 Good evening, my loyal friends.

It's me, your Queen Floof, with this week's royal update!

Lots of exciting things have been happening around African Dawn. Thanks to the generous donations from my lovely and loyal followers, some of the enclosures of my fellow winged subjects have received wonderful upgrades.

And guess what? Even I, your Queen, got an upgrade!

I now reside in a magnificent aviary overlooking the farm, where I enjoy breathtaking sunsets every evening. No more sharing my food with those annoying little bunnies and chickens. Now that I've moved into my royal suite, I can finally admit... I hated sharing with them! 😏

I am surrounded by beautiful spekboom instead of the usual unworthy servants who work for me, and I finally get to relax in peace. As I get older, I've found myself craving a little more quiet and comfort away from all the daily stress.

Life is truly wonderful from my new royal residence.

⚠️ ROAD CONDITION NOTICE ⚠️

Kindly note that the gravel road leading to African Dawn is currently extremely muddy and slippery due to the recent weather conditions.

🚙 Only larger vehicles such as bakkies and 4x4s will be able to access the sanctuary safely at this time.

❌ Please do not attempt to drive the road with a small vehicle, as there is a high risk of getting stuck or damaging your vehicle.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We will keep everyone updated as road conditions improve.

⚠️ NOTICE ⚠️

Due to the severe weather conditions we have experienced, African Dawn Bird and Wildlife Sanctuary will be closed for the weekend.

Unfortunately, the heavy rains have caused damage to the access road, making it unsafe for visitors.

The safety of our visitors, volunteers, staff, and animals remains our top priority. We will keep everyone updated on road repairs and reopening dates as soon as possible.
