The ever-elusive leopard ๐Ÿ†
One moment, a steady, piercing stare; the next, vanished without a trace.
A rare encounter to treasure until paths cross once again.

Finally captured a clear shot of the elusive Black-Backed Puffback! ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ“ธ
Usually hidden behind leaves and branches,
I patiently waited on the patio at tree-top level for the perfect moment.
Natureโ€™s little surprises are the best!

Watch as the powerful male confidently strides onto the road, takes a look around, and then disappears back into the bush.

Not one, but THREE leopards around the same tree!
They were taking turns feasting on the remains of a warthog.
It was so cool to see a male, female, and juvenile all in one place.
Would have been amazing if all three had been in the tree together!
Nature never fails to surprise. ๐Ÿ†๐ŸŒฟ

Did you know? ๐Ÿ†
Leopards usually stroll at a relaxed pace of around 4 to 6 km/h (2.5 to 3.7 mph).
Their stealthy walk helps them blend into their surroundings as they stalk their prey.
Natureโ€™s perfect combination of grace and power!
