The young people of the Economic Freedom Fighters Youth Command (EFFYC) Raymond Mhlaba Sub-Region will today convene at the New Student Centre, University of Fort Hare (UFH ALICE), for a Voter Education Programme to be addressed by the EFFYC Provencial Coordinator.

Young people remain the cornerstone of any revolution. The role of the youth today is to utilise the ballot.

This communication is to invite every community member who resides around Mdantsane to a prayer, which its aim is to pray for our brothers who will be embarking in a journey of transforming into men.

As EFFYC Mdantsane sub-region we all know that this journey is not easy and at times it gets risky, therefore we saw a need to do a program of this nature to ensure that our fellow brothers can be spiritually protected so that they can come back alive and serve our communities and bring change.

EFF YOUTH COMMAND CONDEMNS BRUTAL MURDERS OF TEENAGE GIRLS IN THE EASTERN CAPE
27 June 2025

- "In the absence of decisive provincial leadership, we therefore call on the Minister of Police, the Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, and the President of South Africa to immediately provide the nation with an update, in line with the National Strategic Plan on GBVF, on what urgent measures are being implemented to stop the slaughter of women and girls in the Eastern Cape.

We demand to know what progress has been made in the investigation and prosecution of these cases, whether GBVF units are being properly resourced, and what immediate protection mechanisms are being deployed to communities under siege."

A joint programme by KSD EFFYC, led by PYILC Convener Fighter Piaba Madokwe and joined by Ward 2 EFF leadership under the guidance of Councillor Dumisani Ntlabati, took the movement straight to the people with a powerful door-to-door campaign; spreading the message of economic freedom, welcoming new members, and building momentum for the EFF’s 12th Anniversary Celebration happening in Mthatha on the 26th of July.
