Kuyasa library, in partnership with IS&T, hosted an exciting Online Game Tournament 🕹️🔥

A total of 19 enthusiastic participants joined the fun, showing off their gaming skills and competitive spirit! 🏆👏 Congratulations to our 2 lucky winners, who each walked away with a brand-new headphone prize 🎧🎉

To keep everyone energized, a healthy snack pack 🥪🍎 was provided to all participants.

Kuyasa Library is excited to host the After-School Inner Lion Workshops by Little Lions Child Coaching! 🎉

These fun, interactive, and FREE workshops are designed to help children:
💛 Understand their feelings
💛 Build confidence and resilience
💛 Learn positive coping skills
💛 Discover their strengths in a safe and supportive space

Through games, movement, discussions, and mindfulness activities, children will gain valuable life skills they can use at school, at home, and beyond. 🌈

Nurturing the Next Generation of Writers at Kuyasa Library 📚 😁

The written word has the power to transform lives and reshape our community’s future. To celebrate this impact, Kuyasa Library is proud to host an inspiring Local Author Tour designed to bridge the gap between reading stories and writing them.
This event is a dedicated space for the youth of Khayelitsha to connect with established local voices, learn the craft of storytelling, and discover the path to becoming a published author. By sharing these journeys, the goal is to ignite a lifelong passion for literature and empower young residents to document their own experiences.

What an amazing time we had celebrating Freedom Month at Kuyasa Library! 🇿🇦📚

Our library came alive with joy, learning, and community spirit as we remembered the importance of freedom, unity, and our shared history. From inspiring stories and engaging discussions to fun activities for both young and old, it was truly a day to remember!
