I found a prayer in Habakkuk 2:3 this morning...
Lord, for the things You have shown me that have not happened yet, teach me how to wait without losing heart. When the vision takes longer than I expected, keep me from assuming You have forgotten me. When I cannot see movement, keep me from creating movement out of panic. Give me the discernment to know the difference between a promise that needs my obedience and a promise that simply needs my patience.
When everyone around me seems to be moving ahead and my own life feels suspended, keep me from measuring Your faithfulness by somebody else’s timeline. Let me remember that something can be taking longer without being denied. And when I am tempted to walk away because I have waited longer than I thought I would, remind me that “though it linger, wait for it.” Lord, teach me to wait without turning the waiting into evidence that You are not working.

A new mall has opened today, and most importantly, South Africans are being given opportunities to work.

This is what meaningful investment should look like creating jobs, supporting communities and giving people a chance to earn a living.

The mother of a teenage mother forced her child to go to school with her baby. People might have different views about this deed yet she's sending a strong message to any reckless pupil who might fall pregnant this year. Falling pregnant while at school is a big No. You skip two stages instantly and become a mom who's still under her parents.

Say this silent prayer before bed 🔥

Lord, Show me how good it can get, Surprise me with opportunities I never expected.

Connect me with people I never knew I needed, Take me into rooms I could never ever enter on my own.

Give me the courage to leave survival mode and believe better days are possible. I release every fear that keeps me attached to struggle and I declare that my past will not interfere with my future and fear will not stop me.

Let me walk in your image. Amen 🙏

I spent 20 minutes helping an elderly man at an ATM because he said he couldn't read the screen.

When we finished, he smiled, thanked me, and walked away.

About an hour later, two police officers knocked on my office door.

"Did you help an older gentleman withdraw cash today?"

My stomach dropped.

I thought someone had accused me of stealing from him.
Instead, one of the officers smiled.

"He insisted we find you."

Apparently, the man wasn't confused at all.

His daughter had warned him that strangers only help when they want something in return.

He'd been asking different people for help all week.
Most ignored him.

Two people told him to "ask the bank staff."

One person laughed and walked away.

I was the first person who stayed until he was done without asking for anything.

The officers handed me an envelope.
Inside was a handwritten note.
It read: "You restored my faith in people today. Please never stop being the kind of person who helps when nobody is watching."

There was no money.
No reward.
Just that note.

I've kept it in my desk ever since.

The strange part is...
I still think I got the better deal.

Be honest:

If an elderly stranger stopped you at an ATM and said they couldn't understand the screen, would you stop to help them?

We buy food to cook for the people who are in need in our community, and then we dish out for children, Mothers, fathers, the Enderly and even amaphara. I can say that this is the best community to live in.
