FALSE SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL DEFENCE FORCE RECRUITMENT ADVERTISEMENT ON SOCIAL MEDIA

The South African National Defence Force (SANDF) has noted that there are false advertisements that have been circulating on social media on recruitment of new members for Military Skills Development System (MSDS).

The SANDF has not issued any advertisement with regard to the recruitment of new members yet. The advertisement for 2018 recruitment will be published on the Sunday newspapers on 21 January 2018 and on the Daily Sun newspaper on Monday, 22 January 2018.

The SANDF neither sells application forms nor use recruitment agencies, for more information members of the public can contact Lieutenant Colonel Kenanao Lobelo on (012) 339 5626 or Lieutenant Colonel Rudi Oosthuizen on (012) 339 5440.

An opportunity for dynamic unemployed youth...

"Call for Nestle South Africa Young Micro-Distributors

As part of the partnership agreement signed at the Proudly South Africa “Buy Local Summit”, on Monday 03 April 2017; Nestlé South Africa and the Department of Small Business Development have committed to recruit 200 micro-distributors.

We are looking to empower young, educated and dynamic unemployed youth (below the age of 35 for both men and women), living in major townships across the country. Financial support will be provided to the micro-distributors and they will be upskilled in the areas of sales and merchandising, warehouse management as well as financial management. The candidates need to be energetic and enthusiastic to be a successful Micro-Distributor in their respective townships.

You can nominate and also share this call to action with youth in your communities or family members that meet the below requirements.

Requirements for micro-distributors include:
· South African resident with valid ID
· Local resident
· Below the age of 35
· Young and ambitious entrepreneurs
· A small, but secured space that can store 100 – 150 Nestlé products at a time
· Must have a valid bank account
· Must have a vehicle
· Must have insurance for the business, e.g. storage and stock-in-transit
· An initial start-up capital of R30 000
· Proximity coverage of 200 – 250 stores on average 25 stores per day (Monday to Friday), and at a fortnight frequency
