🏫 Nancefield Primary School Upgrade Nearing Completion!

The A-Team recently conducted a site inspection at Nancefield Primary School in Eldorado Park to monitor progress on the school's infrastructure upgrades.

The project has now reached 95% completion, with teams hard at work on the final stages of construction. Ongoing activities include landscaping, installation of security systems, clear view fencing, rainwater goods, roof coverings for walkways, and final electrical works.

Key outstanding work includes completing the school hall, network installations, walkways, perimeter walls, gates, and other finishing touches that will enhance the learning environment for learners and educators.

While progress remains positive, challenges such as rainy weather, outstanding payments to some SMMEs, and the completion of critical safety systems continue to be closely monitored.

We remain committed to ensuring that all remaining work is completed to the required standard, delivering a safe, modern, and functional learning environment for the Nancefield Primary School community.

📍Site Inspection Update |Savanna City Primary School |

The A-Team conducted a site inspection at Savanna City Primary School to monitor construction progress and address challenges impacting project delivery.

The project is currently at 57% completion, with construction activities progressing across several work fronts, including roofing, brickwork, internal plastering, screeding, plumbing, electrical installations, stormwater and sewer reticulation, perimeter fencing, and attenuation pond works.

During the inspection, a challenge relating to the non-payment of employees by certain subcontractors was raised. The matter requires urgent attention to ensure labour stability and prevent disruptions to construction activities.

Upcoming works will focus on advancing brickwork at Blocks A and I, internal plastering at Blocks B and D, roof coverings at Block B, and roof structure construction at Block EP.

The team will continue to monitor progress to support the successful delivery of quality learning infrastructure for the Savanna City community.

📍 St Ansgar’s Combined School, Randburg

The A-Team conducted a site inspection to assess progress on the school's upgrade project. Work continues on classroom renovations, mobile classroom relocations, stormwater and sewer infrastructure, parking areas, electrical upgrades, and improvements to learner facilities.

Positive progress has been recorded on retaining walls, paving works, drainage infrastructure, classroom refurbishments, kitchen renovations, and the installation of services. Construction of concrete platforms for new mobile classrooms is also advancing well.

Safety and quality remain a priority. Workmanship concerns, learner sanitation needs, and the securing of relocated mobile classrooms were highlighted during the inspection. The contractor has been instructed to address these matters and maintain momentum on site.

The team will continue to closely monitor progress to ensure the project delivers safe, quality infrastructure that supports teaching and learning at the school.
