πŸ’œGirl Talk at Randburg Library🌸

In celebration of women's month, Randburg Library hosted a meaningful Girl Talk session for Grade 7 learners from Amazing Grace Private School and Bordeaux Primary School.

The programme provided a safe and supportive space for the girls to learn, ask questions and engage on important topics as they navigate adolescence.

Topics covered included:

✨ Personal hygiene
🌸 Puberty and growing up
πŸ’ͺ Confidence and self-esteem
🧠 Mental health and emotional well-being
🌱 Life skills

As part of the programme, the girls also received hygiene care packs and free sanitary pads, supporting their personal well-being and helping them manage their menstrual health with dignity and confidence.

A heartfelt thank you to our valued stakeholders who helped make this programme possible: NICRO, National Children & Violence Trust (NCVT), Randburg Clinic, and the Department of Social Development.

Your partnership and commitment to supporting young people help us create informed, confident and empowered communities.

Joburg Libraries remain committed to providing safe spaces where young people can access information, support and opportunities to learn and grow.
