1957 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith - TJ1

The purchase of this vehicle was negotiated between the federation of British industries, sponsors of two way trade campaign with the union, JHb dealer and the Rolls Royce Company. At the time Mayor Clr. Max Goodman officially accepted the vehicle on behalf of the Johanneburg City Council on September 11, 1957 and continued to use it until 1970.

1963 PORSCHE Model 356 C - Coupe Exhibition at JHMT

Ferdinand Porsche, well known desinger of Lohner, Austro-Daimler, Steyr, and Mercedes cars as well as Auto-Union racers and the Volkswagen started to produce cars in his own account in 1948. he built variuos prototypes until 1950 when he produced the Type 356 which built in variuos versions until 1964. It had a rear mounted Volkswagen, air cooled four cylinder engine 1, 086cc developing 40 bhp. It took him 2 years starting with the first prototype to produce the first 50 cars. The body design was done by Erwin Komenda and it was available in hard top coupe, open configurations and was produced in variuos versions until 1965
