Orange Farm Library Marks June 16 with Youth Empowerment Programme

The City of Johannesburg's Library and Information Services marked the 50th Anniversary of June 16 with a lively Youth Month event at Orange Farm Library. The event was held under the theme, 'Honoring the Past, Engineering the Future: The Current Frontier of 1976'.

The programme aimed to honour the courage and sacrifices of the 1976 youth while helping today's young people gain the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a changing world.
